About Phil Seed's Virtual Car Museum

This virtual car museum gallery contains over 430 pages of scans of brochures of various makes and models of cars (1950 - 1980), photographs and a variety of automobilia. On-line since August 1998. The site is optimised for 1024x768 and higher. I have not tested every browser on the market, but I know that Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer display everything correctly. Many pictures are quite large (640 pixels wide) - if you are not on broadband be prepared for quite a long wait, but I hope you like the results.

Take a tour around this virtual car museum by clicking on any of the makes shown in the "Makes" menu, or take a look at the special interest sections such as the car park, which is where you can find miscellaneous items about motoring such as driving on the left, licence plates, motoring history and more.

The links page contains some of my favorite sites. Please let me know if there are any good sites you would like to recommend to other car enthusiasts. The Treasure Trove page leads to pages on a variety of subjects such as classic cars in Malta and classic cars in daily use and has been updated with a Ferrari section.

The Rust in Peace section contains some new black & white photos of a scrap yard in Britain in the early 'seventies. The events page includes a section on the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Enjoy your visit.
