Phil Seed’s Virtual Car Museum gallery contains over 430 pages of scans of brochures, advertisements and press photos of various makes and models of cars (1920s – 1980s), photographs, articles and a variety of automobilia.
On-line for over 24 years, since August 1998.
Take a tour around this virtual car museum by clicking on any of the makes shown in the menu Makes A-Z. It is by no means a complete catalogue of makes and models, but is intended to provide an overview for your enjoyment.
The Car Park section is home to general pages relating to classic cars. There is a list of reviews of real car museums I have visited, a list of coachbuilding terms and an overview of motoring magazines I have collected and more.
The articles / blog posts section is just that: miscellaneous pieces I have written about motoring such as driving on the left, licence plates, pieces on motoring history and more. I have written about the classic cars in Malta and classic cars in daily use.
You can use the search engine or the tag cloud to help you find stuff I may have hidden. More will be added as time progresses.
New design as of April 2021.
Thanks to everyone who has visited the Virtual Car Museum during the course of the past 22 years, and in particular to all who took the trouble to sign the old guestbook (removed because of spam) or to send me an e-mail. A special thanks to those of you who have contributed facts, photos and scans, and who have corrected my errors, given me encouragement, help and advice.
