The body is of all-steel monocoque construction with independent suspension on all four wheels consisting of double transverse wishbones with coil springs, telescopic dampers and anti-roll bar front and rear.
The self-ventilated Girling disc braking system is hydraulically-operated by two vacuum servo units with separate circuits for front and rear.
The magnesium wheels are fitted with Michelin low profile 215-70 VR 15 X tyres.
